Pregnancy was a surprise. Despite being fit and healthy and having a mother and sisters with non symptomatic pregnancies - Emily spent both pregnancies with severe Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) and lots of pregnancy symptoms.
When she went looking for information, there were plenty of opinions - outdated, poorly structured, or just loud.
Emily set out to write the book she wished she'd had. That idea became the Hey There Thrivival podcast - resulting in years of research, conversations with friends, parents and global experts. Now a genuine twin baby feeding pain point has resulted in our (soon to launch!) custom pregnancy, feeding to postpartum apparel range. The first ever custom feeding top - designed by a twin mum for twin+ parents.
As a twin herself, Emily has a unique perspective on what it means to be raised and parented as a twin. She went on to have two twin pregnancies of her own, plus two miscarriages. One pregnancy ended in loss; the other resulted in cheeky twin boys. Emily has since discovered at least 18x sets of family twins (and counting!).
The goal hasn't changed since day one: help those who come after us to be better set up to thrive.
